The Swift Run Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park is 20 minutes away with some of the best hiking on the east coast. JMU and everything else in Harrisonburg is 25 minutes away, and there are several breweries, wineries, and restaurants within 20-25 minutes of the house. Other things to note - The Black Diamond is pet friendly! We allow up to 4 pets with a $100 pet fee (total, not per pet or per night). - Massanutten offers hiking, skiing, snowboarding, tubing, swimming, dining, spa, ropes course / zip line, golfing, go carts, mini golf, and much more. - The driveway is large with ample space for 8 or more vehicles. There is an overflow parking lot available in Massanutten if needed. - Wifi is fast with a strong signal throughout the house and decks. - All seven bedrooms, plus living room and rec room, feature a smart TV where you can access all the main streaming services. - We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with multiple coffee drip and Keurig options - Guests can enjoy community pool access in the summer season for a $6 per person fee. - Linens and towels provided - Pack n play and high chair provided - We do require a separate rental agreement, which we will send a link to e-sign after you book. There are no additional fees beyond those listed here. Lastly, this property is located within an HOA that requires the community rules to be posted here, so here are those rules: WELCOME TO MASSANUTTEN! This home is in a private residential neighborhood and is part of the Massanutten Property Owners Association (MPOA), governed by its rules and regulations. There are rental homes in all MPOA neighborhoods, but people also live here. Your nearby neighbors may be full-time residents, including families with children, retirees, second-home owners and other guests enjoying their retreat. NOISE • Quiet hours: 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM. • Keep noise indoors during these hours. • No excessive noise at any time, as judged by MPOA or its assigned agents. PARKING • Keep all tires off the road. • Don't block fire hydrants or park in front of another property without written approval from your host. • Park only in designated areas or overflow lot • No buses, campers, or RVs to be parked at homes or on roads. Overflow lot is available with written approval from your host. OUTDOOR FIRES • High wildfire risk area! • No open fires. • No unattended fires. • No firepit use during quiet hours (10:00 PM - 7:00 AM). • Firepits and grills may be restricted during local emergency conditions, check MassanuttenVillage(dot)com or electronic sign at entrance for updates. ALCOHOL No open containers on roads or in common areas. PETS • Leash always required when outside. • Clean up after your pets. TRASH • Do not place garbage/trash outside, including screened-in porches, decks or carports. Trash attracts wildlife, which could endanger you and damage the property. We will provide directions to the nearby community dumpsters.
